Beautiful little hotel just inside the castle walls so that you don't have to walk too far with luggage. Room furnished in typical old Portuguese style with shuttered windows that look out over a beautiful view. Nice breakfast and great overall experience! Very clean.
Took the bus from Lisbon to Obidos and was able to walk up the hill directly to the hotel from the bus stop. It wasn't obvious at first and I had to walk along the side of the road without a sidewalk but it was less than a 5 - 10 minute walk from the main gate to historic Obidos to the hotel. They were friendly and the hotel was very clean and comfortable.
Our stay was amazing. Patrick was extremely helpful explaining the property and showing us to our room. You could just see the attention to detail in every element of the property, from the beautiful landscaping to all the amenities in the room. I will definitely be coming back.
We had read the review on this Hotel about being musty - it is just a little, but very clean everywhere. Its an old hotel, old beds but somewhat comfortable. Ver nice and helpful staff. Front desk we dealt with 2 people both spoke very good English - For the price this is a very nice overnight stay.
