"We took 2 rooms during a road trip, arriving close to midnight with our extended family of 6. We only stayed one night, mainly to rest, and overall it served that purpose very well. On the positive side, the place was clean, The beds were comfortable, and it was a very good value for money. We were able to get a good night’s rest after a long drive. The only downside was the noisy air conditioning, which made it a bit less comfortable during the night. Overall, it was a good short stay and met our basic needs for a stopover (at that budget price!)"

"Everything was great from the time we checked until we left. Always very clean! Staff, from the front desk to the kitchen staff, very friendly and courtesy! The breakfast is awesome. One of the best free breakfast offerings I’ve seen. Taste delicious, not bland. The beds are wonderful!! Firm and comfortable. My room upgrade was appreciated and very nice! 5 star hotel at a very good price!!!!"

"We are frequent visitors to this particular hotel and we love it here. The place was clean and it smelled clean when we first got there. The rooms were adequate and clean. They could consider just mounting the tv and removing the mirror behind it but that neither here or there. The staff actually remembered us which was nice They answered any and all questions quickly. Just overall a great place to saty. Worth every penny"

"A tiny cottage… yes it was, but very nicely maintained, clean, comfortable and oh so Peaceful! So beautifully quiet at night. A bon fire each night when I was there. Welcoming for my dogs. The owner was so friendly… very nice …personable to speak with. I did enjoy my stay. Very relaxing. Minutes to downtown Cape Charles."
