"This is a lovely hotel right in the heart of Fowey. We have stayed here a few times now and each time has been thoroughly enjoyable. The staff are friendly and keen to do what they can for you, the rooms are great (ours had double aspect windows over the river, which was delightful), and the food is really good too (we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in their restaurant). Ideally placed to explore Fowey and all its shops, cafes and restaurants. We would happily visit again."

"The self catering cabins are wonderful. It was the most spacious cabin we have ever stayed in. We loved watching the bats from the decking. All the staff we meet were friendly and helpful. The pool was a nice bonus. Would definitely stay again."

"We loved it here. The accommodation was perfect for us (me, my husband, dog and 14 yo son who likes the peace and quiet), there was a pint of milk waiting in the fridge and a little box with washing up liquid, dishcloth, scourer, tea, coffee, & biscuits which was a nice touch. The lodge was secured all round so our dog could be let outside the balcony area. Hot tub was really private with a screen on the side which was lovely to chill out in and listen to the stream bubbling by. Sally in...

"The family room in the hotel was lovely. Very spacious and clean. The gardens were lovely and the children enjoyed the many peacocks happily wandering around. The photo for the listing suggests cabins and our room was in the main building. It was not a problem and our room was lovely, just different. Just something to be aware of when booking. A lovely tranquil place with great walks on site."
