"The Sonesta ES Suites is our favorite place to stay in Tucson. The kitchen enabled us to cook for the whole week we were there. The location is great because there is a Walmart supercenter less than a mile away and a Trader Joe's only 2 blocks away."

"Short stay near family. Staff was friendly and efficient. Beds were fine--appreciate actual sheets! The hotel is showing its age in some areas, but it's taken care of and quite adequate for our purposes. Quick hit, adequate, real breakfast items, and the staff there was great at keeping it serviced."

"It is a dated hotel. And it is north of Tucson in the town of Catalina, AZ. So if you want to be closer to downtown Tucson, this may not be the place to stay. That being said, the staff and GM made the stay comfortable and resolved any issues. They really cared to make the stay nice. Plus, Catalina State Park is a few miles away along with horseback riding ranches and Oro Valley Marketplace. So it is a good place to stay if those are your intentions."
