Overall hotel is outstanding, impeccable service. The SPA was amazing. For this winter season, they should provide fire pits for the guests and some wine tasting activities.

This was a good value for a last-minute stay. Taxi cabs were much harder to find here than in Porto, paid 15 euros for an airport shuttle that the front desk called for us. The hotel was clean and the people were helpful.

Beautiful hotel. Our room for 4 was very spacious and the property was spotless and seemed new. We would definitely stay here again.

We had to book a stay in a hurry after our flight got canceled. Staff was very accommodating and the rooms were well appointed. Was very happy with our stay and the breakfast options in the morning. Our room was slightly warm but the staff was very helpful in adjusting the temperature settings to allow room to get cooler.

I almost never leave reviews for anything because I always believe that what is considered excellent for some people may not be for me and vice-versa. However, Castelo Santa Catarina is a great choice for so many reasons. The rooms are big and very clean, staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is gorgeous, after all it is a castle. Solid property… It’s a little far away from all of the action, but for me, that was a good thing. It was about a 25 minute walk to the super touristy area. The unit was clean and the staff was really easy to get a hold of. All the instructions for everything were clear. I was really satisfied and would definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff and clean rooms

This space was amazing and the staff were so helpful answering all my questions. I was able to store my luggage at their main location and they were very helpful giving directions.

We very much enjoyed our one night stay. Clean bedroom and bath. The building is of historic design. The exterior and interior walls are of large granite blocks. The hotel is located in the country site, it is quiet and has a very helpful and accommodating staff. We would like to go back for a longer stay.

Staff was amazing. Only downside (being American) was that the bathroom was small.
