Close to the main train station and a wonderful city park. Still give you actual keys for the doors. Front desk people are wonderful, like checking into a family owned hotel. Reminds me what the word "guest" actually is supposed to mean.
We arrived a little after 6:00 p.m. The entrance door was locked, with a notice that guests with reservations arriving after 5:00 p.m. could find room keys in the mail box. We found an envelope with my name on it that contained the entrance and room key. We entered the hotel, and it was surreal. The beautiful and soothing public room was deserted. There was only one other car in the parking area, and we didn't see another soul until we left the room the next morning. It was quiet and somehow...
Beautifully decorated room.Its a BnB not a hotel so no staff after 6pm.You get a code to enter after that time. Breakfast is in a restaurant a few doors down.Both these facts did not bother us and felt it was great value for money as perfect location 3 min walk from train station and at edge of historic district on pretty street.
