"I loved this resort and will definitely stay there again! My only complaint is the parking. The hotel doesn’t have its own parking, all the parking is free parking so you get hikers and everyone else. We had to park pretty far away and bring our stuff in. We were able to move the car later to be closer, but the roads are one way so it’s a whole process to move your car. But the fact that the canyon rim was literally out the back door made it all worth it:) my only other complain was dining, there are restaurants but I wish there was a quick service type of place . I think there normally is but it was closed while we were there. "
"Room was just as it was advertised. We declined housekeeping so we were ok with the accommodations and we had plenty of towels which were happily provided very comfortable rooms"
"The rooms are very outdated. Was told we would have a great balcony view of a farm but looked like a junk yard. The wagon wheel saloon restaurant was gross. The waiter was more worried about what everyone was doing than waiting on the people there. Was told by the front staff that all their income comes from their Japanese travelers and tourist visitors don’t matter to them. Just all around very poor and not worth the $270 for one night. "
"We were in room 52 of the motel accommodations. My husband caught 15 moths in our room!! Plus there were a couple dead ones on the floor. The ice machine was broken so they brought us an entire bag of ice. We went to the restaurant for dinner and it took quite a while to get our food. The best thing about it is proximity to North Rim of Grand Canyon."
