Learn more about June Lake
Tucked against the Eastern Sierra, this alpine retreat offers four crystal-clear lakes where fishing lines dangle hopefully in summer waters. The June Lake Loop winds past Gull Lake Marina and June Lake Beach, where swimmers brave the mountain chill for bragging rights. Winter transforms the landscape as June Mountain's slopes welcome skiers seeking refuge from Mammoth's crowds. Hikers discover trails leading to hidden waterfalls while photographers capture the surreal tufa formations at nearby Mono Lake. Silver Lake's shoreline cabins fill with anglers comparing the day's catch over sunset beers. The tiny village swells each season with outdoor enthusiasts who return year after year, drawn by mountains that feel both wild and somehow familiar.

The Village Lodge
"The room are clearly dated. While reasonably clean, lacks updates like digital thermostats, central HVAC, bathrooms are old. So while the Residence Inn is being constructed, Limelight would be the newer option that i would say to check out"
Limelight Mammoth
"No parking was the only constraint"
Juniper Springs Resort
"Great place to stay in mammoth"
June Lake Villager
"Room was clean, parking was convenient, Darla at the front desk was very friendly. Cons, we stayed 3 nights and only had coffee in the room for 2 night stay and shower was missing shower soap. Location was perfect, able to walk to many amenities."
Whispering Pines
"Amenities were stellar but simple. These were my expectations and they were mostly met. The only downfall was an uncleaned toilet bowl. Other than that the staff helped quickly with a brief lock set challenge. They had a Keurig with coffee pods ready to go. They had a larger refrigerator, microwave and hot plate. Very happy with my stay."
Heidelberg Inn
"Large room with kitchenette and couch. Nostalgic lobby. “"
Double Eagle Resort & Spa
"Privately operated hotel and an excellent alternative to the national hotel chains. Good size chalet room with a large bathroom, amenities and a balcony over looking the fishing lake, great for ventilation. Helpful staff with special mention to Michael for a warm welcome and service in the adjacent Eagle Nest Saloon. A hidden gem a short drive from June Lake, with a large indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym."
Lake Front Cabins
"We absolutely loved this place , very clean with all the essentials"
