"I was worried the hotel might be far from town, but it wasn't. It looks great from the outside. Our room was very large and clean. The couch could have been more comfortable. The bed was great. The thing I really disliked was the exceptionally heavy bathroom door. It always took two hands to close it, and the handle was not user friendly. Prices in the restaurant were a little high, but there were many choices nearby. The coffee room was was very nice."

"This a clean, basic hotel that seems geared for longer term stays. We were just there for 3 days. The front desk is only manned from 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. However, there was someone on call to check us in for our late arrival when we arrived. The room was clean and provided what we needed, though amenities are very limited."

"This was the perfect place for a quick 2 night mini-honeymoon after our wedding. The grounds and River House were beautifully kept. We rented a little EV cart to explore and it was the best decision, we really loved roaming around through the woods and taking in the beautiful scenery. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, the staff was very kind and helpful. My only wish is that there were options onsite for dinner and drinks at the cute little bar, but I understand the demand is likely not high enough for a Sunday/Monday evening stay, so it makes sense. Highly recommend the Morris Estate, would love to come back and stay with a few other couples!"
