"The room was clean and quiet and the bedding was comfortable. The only things that were not as I would’ve hoped was that the body wash in the bathroom was empty and there was no complimentary water in the room like there usually is."

"The whole purpose of me booking my stay was so my daughter could swim in the pool with her friends. On the book it says the pool is open until 8pm. When checking in the sign was changed to 5pm, which okay cool. But online it should of changed to 5pm. When I spoke to the front desk lady she was extremely rude. Also when I made the book I requested to be near my friend whom was also staying there, it said to remind them at check in, i did.. we were placed on the same floor but just about as far away as we could be."

"There aren't many hotels around this area, good location. Nice girl at the counter, reasonable price. They charge extra to park your car, in a parking lot across the street. Room was old, bathroom needs work. TV and heat controls didn't seem to work so I had no tv. Elevator shakes. Not an absolutly terrible place but the whole property needs work. Also, not sure what the point of having an indoor pool is if there is no water in it. Just sayin"

"The Colonial is not as advertised. It is outdated at best. After arriving to a 40 degree room, I attempted to turn on the heat and was hit with a cloud of dust. My allergies were immediately aggravated. The overall smell was a bit musty. The drapes did not shut all the way. There were sheers in the middle that don’t offer much privacy. We were made to pay for the entire stay up front - I now know why. We decided to leave and were told that they would not even refund the second night. The hotel was nowhere near full. So we didn’t even stay one hour and were charged for the whole weekend. I understand not refunding the first night but refusing to second night is bad business. I very respectfully requested the refund and the hotels response said that they placed me in a non- pet room per my request, attempting to create a story about my allergy complaint. I don't have pet allergies and never requested a non-pet room. Do better. Fair is fair."

"This is a historical property. Thus is does not have an ELEVATOR to the 2nd and 3rd floors which is incredibly difficult for those of us that don't do stair or carrying heavy objects like luggage up stairs. In addition, the rooms are small, the bathrooms are small and the shower is smaller than some cruise ships or RVs I've been in. But the history is everywhere! In addition, there is inadequate parking for the number of guests this property can accommodate."

"Wonder place to stay! If I had one thing to nit pick is the hvac/ heater/ fan system was unclear to work and it was hot. But definitely on my list to stay again! "

"the room was kinda clean... that is pretty much the only good thing I can say. the water was white - don't understand how that happens but needless to say we didn't drink it. the room smelled. there was a hole in the ceiling plugged with a wad of paper. the bed was so hard it hurt. there was a loud party in the room next door that went from 1 am-6 am and the staff refused to do anything about it. we spent one night there and tried to cancel the rest of our reservation because it was so bad but they wouldn't give us our money back. DONT STAY HERE!"
