The staff was really friendly and helpful. Other people complain because the hotel is a little dated but the staff works hard to keep the rooms clean and the views are so pretty and the town is gorgeous so who wants to be in the hotel the whole time anyway? 😊 We will definitely be back.

I wasn't expecting much when I booked with Vista, but as soon as I got there I was impressed. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcome and took the time to explain everything you needed to know while staying there. Our room was a little dated, but it was spacious, and very clean! I love to travel and I have to say it was one of the cleanest places I've stayed at. When I booked I was concerned about the view I would be getting based off of others reviews...but I was pleasantly surprised...

My husband and I recently stayed here and had a fantastic time. The property is beautiful and the Inn is so inviting! We have never stayed in this type of Inn before and we were pleasantly surprised how comfortable and relaxed we felt in a home-like setting such as this. The room was great and we had a gorgeous view of trees, a pond, and the incredible skyline of Massachusetts. We are used to pretty sunsets and sunrises in Southern California, but we do not have the fall trees that make these...
The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company.
I absolutely LOVED staying here! My room was wonderful. I had THE BEST nights sleep! The bed was awesome. The innkeepers are wonderful and tremendously accommodating. The ‘continental breakfast’ was way more extensive. So very nice. And the location is in the heart of Newburyport, making it easy to walk everywhere. This area is so very lovely and I’m grateful I discovered this Inn! I hope to return again someday! I highly recommend Clark Currier Inn.
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. There were two things I really liked. The first was that there is a quiet time between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am. We've all stayed in hotels where there is a loud party going on in the room next door. The second was the ability to cast from your personal device to the TV, so you have access to every streaming service you pay for.. a very nice feature. I would definitely stay again.
The Silsbee House was conveniently located to most things we wanted to do in Salem. It was also fantastically clean! We stayed in the Rajah room and it was beautiful. The bed was also very comfortable. I appreciated the attention to detail. I also loved that Beekman 1802 products were in the shower. I have sensitive skin and their products don't irritate me. The only thing that would made it more comfortable would have been a place to put my soap bar in the shower and a place to lay out my...
My room was on the first floor which is actually the second floor. oh and they have an elovator which helped out since my mom cant get around as good as she used too. What a great view of the beach even though the road is in front of beach when you are inside the room all you see is ocean view, standing of course.but then you can go outside and sit on your rocking chair and enjoy the ocean and watch the waves roll in .its a great value for such a nice view.Plus the guys in the office were great...
We were just on an overnight away from home so didn't bring any phone chargers with us. But my wife's phone started eating away the battery and we knew it wouldn't last until we got home. She asked at check-in if the hotel had a charger we could borrow. The guy checking us in said he had one out in his car that would work and let us borrow it to charge the phone. Service above and beyond what is expected!
