Excellent small motel in a small town. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, good AC, great cable TV. Coffee and snacks in the office every morning. Next to the Sacramento River in downtown Colusa. Quiet, clean, comfortable, and friendly. Couldn't ask for more.
I was there for a 100 mile bike ride and the motel was in the perfect location.
Very clean, updated and attractive. My husband was impressed that you got every channel on the tv, lol. Well lit. Except maybe the bathroom could use slightly better lighting near the mirror, shadows. Everything we needed was there! We only stayed one night but the price was right.
We arrived at 10pm and left the following morning at 8am. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and nice facilities.. microwave, internet, desk etc. etc. The breakfast was pretty spartan though. We would certainly stay there again.
Our third great stay at this hotel after our first leg of our road trip. Pet friendly, clean, convenient, right off the freeway, and next to several places to eat, including Starbucks next door. As we just sleep and get back on the road the next day, we don’t use the pool, but everything else was comfortable and felt safe. Coming home, we made the mistake of trying an Embassy Suites in Sacramento. Should have stayed here instead!
Location turned out to not be a good choice because of road work on highway 32 going to and from Chico. The room appeared to be nice but it was a difficult walk up stairs. The sheet had a tear and the toilet hinge area had a brown guck coming from it. There was no ability to take a bath that I had desired after 5 hours on the road.
Central location made it so easy to get to shopping and restaurants. Staff was eager to recommend local places of interest. SO quiet even though it was two blocks from Interstate 5. We would definitely stay there again!
The sweet cute girl at the desk was helpful. Property is older, so dont expect perfection and value in same sentence. You can tell they care and are improving things!
