We had a phone call a few days prior to ensure we understood the noone under 18 rule in bath house or pool . Which was fine as we had the room with hot tub anyway.
Our room was dated but they were in the process of refreshing rooms, new flooring and furniture was being unpacked as we departed.
We did have a fridge but no microwave .
But the tub was great. Perfect temp, and clean.

Had a great experience staying here. Facilities and room were very clean, staff was polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. The breakfast is amazing and the view of the river is breathtaking. Looking forward to staying here again.
We stayed all over Western Oregon during this trip, and this was my favorite place. It is right in the middle of downtown Hood River, and the property itself is unique and interesting. Highly recommended.

I loved this hotel, the decor is so charming and makes you feel like you went back in time. Be sure and take the short walk down to the river and enjoy the views of the Columbia River Gorge. I recommend the Columbia River Gorge Museum in town as well.
We got a room overlooking the river and garden. The room was very nice and updated. It came with a refrigerator and microwave, which is always handy to have. Easy access to the room from the parking lot.

You can ask for a non-pets room if you are severely allergic. We didn't know this, and we both have some allergies, but the room was clean and we didn't notice it at all (assuming pets had been in the room).
It is super cute A fram. The beautiful entry to the 4 pkex has lush landscape and a Zen feeling. The view is spectacular of the Columbia River Gorge. Inside is modern and cozy. But the best is the soaking tub on the private deck. Located in an art community with galleries and good food in walking distance.
Fun old hotel right downtown and easy walking to to shopping and dinning. Since it’s old, there are a good number of outside noises (cars, people, ghosts, etc..) bring ear plugs.
