Learn more about White Rock
Along the edge of Semiahmoo Bay sits a giant white boulder that gives this seaside town its name. The historic pier stretches into waters where sailboats drift lazily past, creating postcard moments at every turn. Grab fish and chips from a beachfront eatery before walking the wooden planks that have welcomed visitors for generations. The promenade offers perfect people-watching, with locals who seem perpetually relaxed despite living in paradise. Summer brings crowds to splash in the surprisingly warm waters, but autumn reveals the town's true character. For a nature break, explore Boundary Bay Wildlife Management Area where migratory birds put on spectacular displays. Save time for Peace Arch State Park and its curious half-in, half-out international monument.

Sandman Signature Vancouver Airport Hotel & Resort
"Sandman was even better in person. The bar was fantastic and the staff were friendly and kind. The rooms have lovely AC and were very clean and comfortable."
Ocean Promenade Hotel
"The hotel was in a wonderful place near the beach with excellent amenities. We enjoyed our stay!"
Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Vancouver Airport
"The property looks well maintained and modernized. Only issue I have is they need to offer breakfast for the price they charge per room."
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Vancouver Airport
"Good location"
Grand Park Hotel Vancouver Airport, an Ascend Collection Hotel
"Close to amenities. The toilet in the washroom was terribly fitted. The receptionist we checked in the night wasn’t very friendly."
Radisson Blu Vancouver Airport Hotel & Marina
"The patio and outside eating area was great. Loved the fire pit area, ambience was great."
Accent Inns Vancouver Airport
"This hotel is not ideal for privacy or convenience. This property is set up more like a motel than a hotel — rooms open directly to outdoor walkways, with windows and doors facing foot traffic. There's little privacy, people walk right past your window and door, so keeping the curtains open isn't really an option if you want any sense of seclusion. Location-wise, it's fairly isolated. Aside from one restaurant across the street, there's not much nearby. Amenities are minimal too — I didn't spot a pool or gym, though I could have missed them. The only perk seems to be free coffee in the lobby. For the price, I'd expect more. Similarly priced hotels in downtown Richmond or closer to Vancouver International Airport offer better location, privacy, and amenities."
