Learn more about Londonderry
Trace the complete 17th-century walls for views across both sides of the River Foyle, where history feels startlingly present. The Museum of Free Derry confronts the city's troubled past with unflinching honesty, while colorful political murals tell stories that words alone cannot capture. Duck into the neo-Gothic Guildhall to admire stained glass windows that survived the Troubles. The Tower Museum cleverly spirals visitors through centuries of border-city life. Cross the elegant Peace Bridge connecting the traditionally Catholic 'Cityside' with Protestant 'Waterside.' The Diamond buzzes with street performers and locals who'll happily debate which name to use - Derry or Londonderry - before directing you to the best spots for traditional music.

Wee Sleep Ireland
"I was very impressed with our stay, I have actually booked next year already! Having some slight trouble with late checkout, I contacted the owner who went out of his way to help. The location was perfect for us, everything was extremely clean and felt very safe. 10/10."

Abbey Bed and Breakfast
"The Abbey B&B is a great place to stay in Derry. Seamus and his wife are very friendly and helpful. Locations is easily walkable to the centre of Derry and is right in the heart of the Bogside area. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a solid Irish breakfast. I would definitely stay here again if we come back to Derry."
Da Vinci's Hotel Derry
"Lovely hotel, friendly staff, very clean and it’s in a good location. The breakfast was amazing, a wide variety to choose from. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m in Derry."
The Ebrington hotel
"The hotel is nice and in a very convenient location for seeing Derry. Liked that it is on the opposite side of river from action of Derry so was quiet. The staff failed to tell us that the apprentice parade was occurring during the time we were there. We left in the morning and were surprised to find that we could not get near the hotel in the afternoon due to road closures. We drove around for 2 hours and had to stop somewhere and wait another hour to get back. We had planned on visiting museums of Derry when we returned but were too late to get in. Very disappointing. There should have been some communication with the guests to tell them about this disruption. We also had to make 3 requests for a top sheet for the bed as the duvet was too hot to sleep under."
Maldron Hotel Derry
"The staff, room and breakfast were all lovely. The parking is a very small underground car park with more cars than spaces. It was very tight to manoeuvre my car around it and I was very nervous about damaging mine and or other cars. That aside the hotel is in a very good location to all the stuff you’re going to do."
Shipquay Boutique Hotel
"Great staff"
Art House
"Over the past 12 months I’ve visited & stayed in a few Derry hotels & I would thoroughly recommend The Art House. The staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble-and my room/bathroom was very comfortable & meticulously clean. Location is perfect, and having access to a stylish, comfortable lounge and well equipped kitchen made my stay enjoyable. I would book again in a heartbeat!"
