Hotel was very nice. The signage for the hotel actually read "The Hill at Fleudir" but the accommodations were very good and the breakfast was 4.5 star.

Very nice place with a kind family and all the amenities you could need to rest up before a day in the Golden Circle!

Very cozy cabin with scenic view. Has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We slept very well on the comfortable bed. The horses in the pasture were amazing. If any questions or anything is needed, host is very responsive and helps quickly. Thank you for the stay!

Love Freya Farm! Unbelievably beautiful view right outside our door: green expanse, river, and mountains in the distance. Great breakfast, comfortable bed, clean room. Truly enjoyed our one night stay at this small cabin. It was a unique experience for us as we always stayed at big hotels.

Top tier spot. Clean, warm in the winter, very responsive owners. Plenty of local stuff to do nearby like waterfall walks, Caves of Hella, wool market, and a cute cafe. A great middle point for exploring golden circle and south coast.

I’ve now visited Iceland 10 times, and I’ve stayed at a variety of hotels, guesthouses, Airbnb’s, etc., and Loa’s Nest is by far the best combination of room comfort, cleanliness, cooking amenities, staff communication and kindness that I’ve experienced. We absolutely loved staying here. The location of the house was perfect for driving the Golden Circle. And we loved sitting in the hot tub looking for Northern Lights and star gazing. Also loved all of the oversized windows and mountain backdrop. Home and beds were warm and comfy! Perfect for our family! We wish we could stayed longer. Thank you so much! God bless!

Askot Cottages are beyond phenomenal! Our best stay in Iceland. The cottage design is thoughtful and purposeful. Every little detail adds to the comfort and experience for the guest. The instructions are presented in a beautifully designed booklet that was clear and complete. All the amenities were stocked and high quality. I wish every place I stayed could be this perfect! Great location, right across from the Geysirs and 10 minutes to Gullfoss waterfall. The room was spacious. Hotel common area was lovely and quiet. The only negative was the room was warm (no AC and no fan); the only solution is to turn the heat off and open the door (but there are quite a bit of insects in the area). At the hotel restaurant we ordered the chicken wings (very good), lamb chops (good), hamburger (odd).

Our room was on the first floor was clean. During our stay we had excellent dinners at the nearby restaurants.

Host was nice and friendly especially the goats tour. Guesthouse was very neat clean. Just little messy when taking shower. We also enjoyed the beautiful sunset from our unit. Great stay at Iceland.

A beautiful secluded hotel out in the countryside about 8 miles outside of Hella. By far the most local experience hotel we stayed in. Very quiet and enjoyed a nice walk in the country one morning.
