Billings has plenty to offer and surrounded by amazing country to explore! I'm not a big city person and as this is Montana's biggest it doesn't act or feel like one!

Billings is a small city, with a lot of traffic, growing rapidly. But for those of us from more rural towns in MT, it is a mecca for shopping, restaurants, and services not available locally. Don't pick this as an authentic Montana vacation area.

We have always liked Billings. Been coming for years and have family in the area. It's also a nice half way stopping point when going across our beautiful Montana as she's a big one to trek all at once.

Billings does have some crime and risks in the downtown area to be aware of. But it's a nice little city with a great theater, airport, shopping, and a variety of food.

It was cold and snowy and icy on my visit to Billings. I will try to go back at another time of the year and hope that the weather will be a lot more accommodating.
