"Brand new hotel was amazing amenities. Room was spacious, well appointed, clean, and extremely comfortable. The bed was heaven! Pool, gym, restaurants and staff were all outstanding. Everything was clean, well maintained, and esthetically pleasing. Centrally located and convenient to most things Vientiane; a lovely oasis at the end of the day. I travel quite a bit , and this was a standout! We were sad to leave and will definitely come back if we pass back through Vientiane ."

"The welcome was very friendly and the room immaculate. We really enjoyed our stay at the Lao Plaza Hotel. It was a little walk to some of the attractions of Vientiane, but one could get tuk tuks if one wanted. Vientiane is a lovely city, relatively untouched by tourism. It has some gorgeous temples and the Patuxai Monument is impressive and well worth a visit. Would have loved more time to explore, but we only had a day."

It is not a big 5 star hotel but it is perfect for wandering around Vientiane and the price point makes it even better. Great value."
