Amazing place to stay! The view from the room was incredible and it was very cozy with the chairs to sip tea and watch the seals jump up and down in the water. Every detail is there to make your trip feel comfortable. Even stopping by to see if you want any snacks or cheese.
It was very clean, they had Dove products in the bathroom, coffee machine, kettle for tea, microwave almost anything you could think of. The bed was very comfortable and the elevator smells amazing. Wonderful and helpful...
The owners Marla and Tom are so gracious and helpful. They have so much knowledge of the area. They greeted us by name when we saw them. Provided amazing home baked goods and recipes and also provided a personalized sack breakfast and lunch for us to take when we left early to take the MV Frances Barkley to Bamfield. They treat you like family.
Was there for one evening only. Wish it was for more!!! Not only is Sproat lake a unique place For full contact with nature, the hotel in itself makes it better. High quality room and staff and very good food.

Our room "203" was Absolutely immaculate inside with a Beautiful recent full renovation throughout.
The Staff were wonderful to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Sea Edge to anyone.

The location is the best part of this hotel because it is on the beach. The lobby is nice and the room was fine. I would say the biggest negative is that the bathroom is rather small. We also tried to use the pool area but there were so many children splashing and shrieking that it was a miserable experience
Owen at the front desk is the best hotel receptionist I've ever met. The rooms were spacious. My kids loved the pool, hot tub, and slide. Close to many good options. Great breakfast and hard-working breakfast staff. Great hotel
Older building that the rooms have been totally remodeled and very good detail given to what is needed for a comfortable stay. Very accommodating and friendly staff.
