Only negative is lack of air conditioning or even a ceiling fan / any fan -- this made it challenging to sleep at night in late August; keep that in mind if you are coming from the US and used to lower sleeping temperatures. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Uve Wine Bar in La Morra. The room was lovely and well-equipped with everything we needed--including our own private balcony where we could share a glass of wine at the end of the day. Even better, it overlooked a beautiful courtyard where food and wine were served, so in the evenings there was a lovely sense of quiet conviviality.
