Very nice hotel. So close to the train station. A 2 minute walk. Wonderful full breakfast is included with beautiful out side seating on the 6th floor. Staff is so helpful. We needed a power converter and they were able to supply it no problem. Can't say enough about this wonderful hotel.

The location of the hotel was great. 5 mins walk from station and right in the middle of the downtown area its excellent views of the downtown life from the balcony. The staff were friendly and good breakfast as well

It was one of the most beautiful places in the area. The staff ere extremely nice and helpful. Very convenient, close to the train and bus stations. Highly recommended

The staff was wonderful and helpful and the room was adequate. Breakfast was great and you won't forget the view. Pool was nice. Be careful with the hotel restaurant...it's a bit pricey. The town of Murren doesn't allow cars and it's a bit of ordeal to get to but it's charming. The town is dead after dark (at least in September)

Hotel Alpenhof if a beautiful, peaceful hotel in Grendelwald. We had a suite on the top floor with a balcony and a sweeping view of the mountains and green hillsides. The room was spacious and clean, with an handy minibar in case you want to have a beer on the nice deck, and tastefully decorated in Swiss style. Gorgeous property that’s newly renovated and serene. Very convenient to the Grindelwald First lift and on a quieter end of town near a lovely church. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Paradise.

This is an amazing hotel perfectly situated directly across from Grindelwald First. When I say directly across, I mean you can be at Grindelwald First in less than 5 mins. Less than that if you can walk a slight incline quickly. You are also perfectly situated by the shops and restaurants! The hotel is beautiful! The upgraded rooms are amazing and the amenities are to die for. I had a single upgraded room that had a balcony facing the Wetterhorn. I would enjoy my coffee on the balcony each...

Excellent stay here, 3 minute walk from the train station. Beautiful views. The staff who I believe were the owners went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. They go the extra mile prepping breakfast. Would recommend to any of my family members or friends.

This is a lovely hotel near the cable car that goes up the mountain. You can ski right up to the front door of the hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and eager to please. The breakfast was very extensive and well-supplied, with high quality food. I had a very enjoyable stay here, and would come again without hesitation. I would give Edelweiss 1000 stars if that were an option. I almost hesitate to write this for fear of spoiling what feels like such a precious, tucked away gem.
