It was an amazing experience. The room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely view of a horse pasture. The inn and pub were great for breakfast and afternoon drinks. Everyone was very friendly!
We liked everything about the hotel. The room was very spacious and nicely appointed. The only disappointment was the fact that we would’ve loved to have had high tea, and try to book a reservation in the morning for the same day and were told that we needed to give 40 hours notice. I didn’t see that posted anywhere. If you have it posted it’s in very little print. You might want to revisit that. If it was on your website, I didn’t see it which could’ve been my fault. Comfy clean rooms though stairs are narrow as with older buildings. Room bathroom design excellent . WiFi can be spotty outside public areas. Excellent breakfast with more than the usual options. Parking tight in the courtyard but spaces wider outside but you have to mount the keen. Great location
The Fleece staff were so warm and friendly ! From check in with George to having drinks at the bar with Ellie we had a wonderful one night stay and would definitely return . It was spotless , the food in the restaurant was amazing we had the burgers and they were so delicious:)

We had a pleasant stay! It was very hot when we arrived. The first room we were given did not have working air conditioning. However, we spoke with Josh at the front desk, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a room with working air conditioning. Josh is a valuable employee and deserves a raise in how well he goes above and beyond for the customers.

We decided very last minute to stay in the Cotswalds overnight. I wanted to experience a staying a traditional inn. The Horse and Groom was perfect! We couldn't have asked for anything better. The guestroom was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We booked just an hour before we arrived, but they were gracious to accommodate us. The Inn is picturesque, the breakfast was amazing even though we were there on Monday when they do t offer their full breakfast menu. The service was the best we have ever...
My husband and I were on an adventure along the countryside back to Bath and booked this little gem of a find. Whoooaa what an interesting place to get lost! loved loved loved this little bed and breakfast!
There’s a restaurant, a bar, a beer garden, and honestly, we didn’t see it all. There is a whole farm and pigs and walking paths that I hope we get back to see another time.
