The commuting is straightforward but you have to take a bus to monza then train to central milan the ride it's cheaper commuting that way and it was easy. The hot water shower is tricky middle ring rotating to the left for hot water. I rated it high because the breakfast was on point. "We came for the Italian Grand Prix in Monza and stayed for a week. The location is really good for getting the train into Monza and also has great metro links for getting back to Milan. The area around the hotel does not have many options for eating in the evening unfortunately but there is a small restaurant in the hotel itself which was open for some of the week.
