Comfortable for the traveler who wants comfort for sleeping and bathing, but who spends most of their time out and about. Unbelievably large bathroom for an upgraded (at no charge) economy room!
This is a nice hotel, close to train station. The furniture in rooms is not the most modern but it does the job. Staff is very friendly, breakfast had everything you need (except for fresh vegetables).

I stayed here for two nights when I attended a wedding in this beautiful little town. The hotel was perfect..clean, well-maintained, friendly staff, a nice restaurant, a great breakfast and in a central location in the old part of town. I loved it and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
The hotel is located right in the middle of the old town, with easy access to restaurants, cellar bars, bear park, and the river. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, with a Nespresso maker, small refrigerator, and a TV with many international channels. Air conditioning has been a problem this month (July, ‘22) in central Europe, and I overheard another couple asking for a fan. Our A/C worked well. Hotel was walking distance to the city and shopping. For those not inclined to walk the hotel provided tram tickets for the duration of the stay! The hotel also had a great continental breakfast and the staff was EXCELLENT! Very friendly, accommodating and very informative- also spoke excellent English which was a bonus! Planning on staying there again on my next trip to Bern!
