The Boat Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Unfortunately has changed over time. Still excellent for you avoid the bus tours."
Sweeney Aviemore One
10/10 Excellent
"The room was very clean when we got there (although one chair was very wobbly - so we avoided sitting on it). The amenities were very nice - including coffee, tea, water and even Caramel Wafers (nice touch). Check out was seamless, location is great, so much available to do."
Craigellachie Hotel of Speyside
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is conveniently located to the whisky trail with Glenfiddich and Macallan distilleries being within 10min drive. Hotel has a nice restaurant on the property and there is another good one 2 min walking distance. Our room had all basic amenities and was clean. The hotel has a rustic character of a building over 100 years old. It is very lovely but it comes with old furniture, uneven floor, no AC, and no elevator. Staff was very friendly and eager to help with travel information and other needs."
Balmoral Arms
10/10 Excellent
"The room was absolutely stunning!! Nice renovations. Bar and lobby area so comfortable. Staff very friendly."
The Station Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at The Station Hotel for two nights - the staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking was readily available and the room was tastefully decorated and spacious. At the hotel we had breakfast both mornings and dinner one evening: the menu had many options and we all enjoyed our meals. We would recommend to our family and friends!"
Craiglynne Hotel
8/10 Good
"It was great! We are a couple from Canada this was a little gem for sure! Slightly loud but nothing we couldn’t handle! Cheers"
Sweeney Aviemore Two
8/10 Good
"Room was a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be, based on photos on booking site. It was very clean and the large double bed was super comfortable. I’m not a fan of a shower of a bath and was disappointed to have to step in and out of the bath to shower. Also the shower gel dispenser in the shower was broken. The restaurant was closed for us on a Thursday night, so can’t comment on the food. Overall I’d say this was a good clean place to stay but I’d have liked a bigger room for the money I paid."
Highlander Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Everything maintained very well at their age. A lovely place to stay at Highland plus a traditional breakfast that you shouldn’t miss."
Argyle Guest House
10/10 Excellent
"Staff were polite & wanting to help with any request. breakfast was amazing especially homemade sour dough bread. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
