"This was my second stay, and it was still a great experience. The bathrooms are modern, there’s an elevator, and the AC works perfectly. It offers excellent value for the price. The standard rooms are a bit on the small side—fine for two carry-ons or one large suitcase, but the walkway is narrow, so you’ll have to squeeze past each other. If you have a lot of luggage, I’d recommend booking a larger room. We experienced a brief power outage on the second night, but it was resolved in about 30...

Theres a light under the bed yhat created just enough to see things in the night without being bright. Purified water tap in bathroom for day to day use too. Katong area is beautiful and Joo chiat rd is quiet and has many eateries and shops."

"Prefer this Mercure over Mercure ICON Singapore City Centre, this location is a bit further out, however, catching a Grab is relatively inexpensive and you can always use pubic transport. The room is much larger than the City Centre place, lots of hawker markets and local restaurants. Overall a good experience "
