The hotels is very well managed. It is far the best hotel in the region. It is a little bit far from the attractions, but it does compensate this with a wonderful location. They have one of these stairs that goes inside the sea. The restaurant is a very good one, with delicious meals. The staff is also outstanding, they are always with a smile. And the view ... the view is something that will be printed on your eyes for a while... I will return for sure.

Felt more at home then anywere else on the trip to greece. They told us about the area, Showed us all the local products. The room was nice with great views. very quiet.

Really nice place for spending a vacation next to the sea! We enjoied the calm and nice village and the beautiful surrounding (for example snorkeling, running, ...). A must if you really like recharging your batteries!

How can you criticize a beautiful hotel that has kept its old-world charm on a medieval island? Our room was built on a 12th-century foundation. You can still feel the remnants of old candle wax in the authentic niches of the wall's original stonework. The floors are wall-to-wall marble, even the shower floor. Enter your bathroom through a stone archway that may have been a monk's cloister. Smell the mesquite from an old fire in the stone fireplace. The room was the size of a large efficiency...

A truly perfect stay...of course Monemvasia is a magical place to begin with, but our stay at this hotel truly exceeded our expectations. Nektaria is very gracious and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and so comfortable. We slept like babies with the super quiet windows that block out 100% of the sunlight. And who would expect the restaurant in a hotel to be the best around? We certainly did not: a few locals told us it was the "only REAL restaurant in Monemvasia" and they were...

The room was amazing - the views, the ultra comfortable beds and the traditional stone - modern ambiance. The room was impeccable & clean, the staff and manager were very friendly & helpful, the breakfast was great which we especially appreciated when no other restaurants could be found for breakfast (off season. Great stay - family running the hotel was very friendly. Very convenient location with good restaurants within meters of the hotel + a short walk to the Monemvasia old town. Parking was across the street from hotel (easy + free parking).

Timeless location amid olive groves, spectacular mountains. Family-run with great warmth and care. Different dinner options each night they aim to please guest palates. Rooms are lushly appointed with super comfy beds. Don’t miss this very special setting and restful experience.

The staff and the hotel itself was wonderful I highly recommend it the only thing that was missing is the rooms don’t have an iron but other than that we will definitely be going back

Gorgeous property. The town needs to fix the DUSTY roads between the beach and hotel properties. This needs to happen. This is not something the hotel can do and they are at the mercy of the towns. Its a shame that its 2021 and the municipality has not fixed this problem for Mavrovouni.

A hotel worth much more than two stars I would rate it at least three if not four stars The staff is lovely, Shontei, Hargiro, Nina, (I hope I wrote the names correctly) take care of you as a guest so that you will simply have a good time. The rooms are very clean and spacious, the hotel staff is quick to fix any problem. The view from the quiet private balcony is stunning in its beauty, the proximity to the most beautiful beach in the area, a 2-minute walk away, is worth it all. Coffee is free...
