"We could take our pet which was very nice. The lady at reception was a bit grumpy from day one. Did not feel too comfortable around her. The man was lively and the cleaning staff were nice. Location bit far from centre of things in Mt manganui. 5_10 mins drive to beach. Not walking distatnce. All ear8ng places are walking distance, so cant walk much."

"I loved my stay at the smoke lake hot springs ,staff we very helpful awsome hospitality rooms were very clean. The staff were very busy with there daily chaos but still had time to make sure all there customers were happy. I would strongly refer family and friends to stay there and will be booking in the future to stay there."

"This small boutique hotel is top notch. The bed is like sleeping on clouds 👌 Very clean and top of the range room amenities. You want quiet & peaceful this is it. Beautiful friendly hosts. Close to Devonport St which has a great variety of eating options. A few more meters towards the sea is The Strand where your spoilt with more food options. Cafes, restaurants in abundance.
