"First of all it is the fault of Hotels.com for not presenting on their website that this hotel has up to 5 floors and no elevator - and it is situated on top of a steep incline. Older travelers can go breathless dragging their luggage up this hill. The hotel staff was very helpful in carrying my luggage to my room. But it is a hassle to climb up and down to the room and back so I checked out early and moved to a different hotel Also their check out time is 8:30 am (very inconvenient)"

"Really wonderful stay. The beds were very comfortable. They even had down comforters, which was really nice considering that it gets cold, and they had extra space heaters. The only difficulty was climbing a little over a hundred stairs to get to the hotel, but the staff was kind and helpful in managing the luggage up and down. The staff was also very kind. I had an excursion very early in the morning and could not be there for their breakfast. They actually packed me a breakfast!"

"This family owned business provides service to meet your needs. Alex accommodated an early check in for us. Furthermore, he provided everything we asked in the room like hot water and tea. He also let us borrow a towel for the hot springs as an example. They stored our luggage until the evening as our train didn’t leave until 7pm. We were very happy with our overall experience during our stay."
