Wonderful old mansion on spacious grounds, Owner/manager was very helpful and fixed us a fresh breakfast, not the usual buffet breakfast, I recommend very highly.
Beautiful house and rooms, with a fabulous porch looking out on the water. Wonderful and knowledgeable innkeeper--We saw a great tidal bore. Breakfast delicious and spectacular sunset and sunrise through the bedroom windows!! Just lovely. Great location.
This was a charming small inn with an authentic, vintage feel. Some of the details instantly transported me back to my childhood visits to my grandmothers house in Amherst NS. I think there must have been a certain Victorian decor style that was a bit specific to Nova Scotia. Anyhow, the bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious and inviting. Breakfast was magnificent; we had blueberry cinnamon buns, an egg and vegetable dish and fruit parfait. You will not leave hungry.
