"My in-laws had a wonderful stay at Sands Point. They really appreciated the staff for being so warm and helpful throughout their stay at the property. The breakfast made a fantastic start to their day to explore the city. The tea cakes/dessert were really delicious.Thank you for making their trip so relaxing and comforting."

"Property is located in very convenient place to access the various areas of Pondy. Staff are very polite and professional. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are slightly tired. Quality of the food was really good. Breakfast spread was nice. We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights."

"If you can provide Room boy to get food, it will be good."

"Excellent property located at a prime location in Pondicherry. The staff was very prompt and helpful with all our requests. "

"You could do a lot worse ! This hotel was perfectly adequate for our purpose. It lies just outside White Town. Crossing the road by foot from the white town side to the hotel side of the road like any Indian city is not for the faint of heart. Breakfast was standard fare for South India. If you have a driver then you can be dropped off near the promenade which is pedestrianised and is simply marvellous for this very reason. We didn't eat in as there were a lot of eateries around.Pondy is very...

"I stay at Shenbaga every time I visit Pondicherry. It is comfortable, safe and clean. Breakfast buffet is excellent! The a/c is great especially on those hot and humid days and nights"

"Good location, Nice rooms at pretty good price. Only drawback is mobile network coverage."

"We stayed two nights. Rioms were very comfortable, big, clean Near the areas we wanted to visit. "

"The hotel itself is decently maintained mostly.. We were greeted with a welcome drink during check in, that was nice! The room was spacious. Housekeeping was mostly on point. Breakfast buffet was great, lots of variety. The pool area was a bit underwhelming though. The reception staff was very cordial and helpful throughout the stay! Some minor things that could be improved - 1. There was only 1 towel and 1 glass of water when we checked in. Considering that the hotel knows that there are 2...

"Great place to stay"

"Staff was friendly and helpful"

"Hotel is well maintained and rooms were clean. Time taken for Check-In and Check-Out procedure was more than usual, may be - because of new staff - new system in place. Pointed out a shower head issue to the maintenance team. Restaurant serving time was long and requires improving the speed of service. However, Food was tasting good. In general, this hotel is good to stay and recommend as well."

"We very much liked this hotel because of the neoclassical architecture and the sheer dimensions. The lift is impressive with a view on the town while going up! The pool in their urban canyon is in an excellent condition with a diving school, trainers teaching children to swim and several jets that constantly exchange the freshwater. We walked around the various parts of Puducherry during the day and enjoyed the pool afterwards from 4 to 6 pm at which point it closes. A variety of Indian...

"Good overall "

"Nice hotel at this price range, only drowback is we won't get coffee/tea though we get good food. Parking is a big problem in pondicherry, however this hotel has some space to park the vehicle on road."

"Room was cleaned regularly , staff friendly and prompt . Kumari madam extended great hospitality ."

"good hotel to stay. Good service well maintained. Room and surrounding very clean. Good breakfast. Enjoyed stay "

"Although many of the staff were very friendly and courteous there were major red flags that made my stay uncomfortable. Such as an employee approaching me while I was alone at the pool claiming I owed $10000rupes for a gold investment. I did tell management. The cleanliness outside of my room was horrible unfortunately the video I took disappeared after I sent it to the LeMiami. My review was rejected. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and when I asked for more blankets to add I was...
