Awesome place with in a quiet, rural place.Beautiful sunset view, delicious food, great breakfast, nice room, and kind staff are just few of its highlights. Highly recommended if you want to have a real and peaceful rest close to the Douro area.

This property is a very clean, functional, well-kept property that does not pretend to be anything beyond a clean place to get a good night's sleep. Nobody answered the locked door when we arrived (6pm) so we rang and rang the bell. We finally went around to the side and found an open door. We went in and found the reception desk and were joined a few minutes later by the owner ... who had just stepped out for a moment I guess. He didnt speak english so we settled on French and got the paper...

This is such a cool location. We only stayed for one night but the breakfast was delightful, staff was kind and welcoming, and the room was spacious and clean. Be sure to call when you arrive so they can come greet you at the door!

Modern amenities, very clean room, pleasant service from staff at the lobby bar. Accommodations were simple but quite comfortable. Well located a short drive from historic center. Very good value.

We arrived early and a young man checked us in but we couldn’t go into our room yet so we were going to Che k out some of the sites. He helped us and gave us maps and info. He was very helpful. He spoke English and Portuguese and he understood that I was trying to use Portuguese so he was patient. Our room was excellent with a king size bed which we had not had in a long time. It was quiet and didn’t transfer motion. The room was very clean and spacious. We used the pool and loved it. ...

All of the staff, both the front desk and bar staff, we’re very friendly

Quiet place on a college campus. Up on a hill. Friendly staff. Clean rooms! Good free breakfast. Bravo!
