Wangfujing Shopping Area
Wangfujing Shopping Area buzzes with energy where modern malls stand alongside traditional markets and the famous Snack Street. The pedestrian-friendly main boulevard lets you browse without dodging traffic, while adventurous eaters can sample everything from scorpion skewers to candied hawthorn. History buffs will appreciate the century-old pharmacies and proximity to cultural landmarks like the Forbidden City. Getting around is a breeze with three metro stations nearby—Dengshikou, Dongsi, and Jinyu Hutong. Evening shoppers enjoy the lively atmosphere when neon signs and red lanterns illuminate the crowds. Most shops and eateries stay open until 10pm, giving you plenty of time to explore Beijing's most famous retail playground.

Sanlitun
Sanlitun pulses with Beijing's most electric nightlife scene, where neon-lit bars and sleek clubs draw both locals and travelers. The cutting-edge Taikoo Li shopping complex houses international brands and trendy boutiques that fashion-forward visitors adore. Art galleries showcase emerging Chinese talent while the nearby embassy district adds a cosmopolitan flair to this entertainment hub. Global flavors dominate the dining scene, from Korean BBQ to craft cocktail lounges that stay lively until the early morning hours. Upscale hotels and boutique properties offer stylish accommodations within walking distance of the action. Though lacking subway stations directly inside, taxis and ride-sharing services make getting around a breeze.

Beijing Central Business District
Beijing's Central Business District dazzles with sleek skyscrapers and world-class shopping. Art lovers can explore galleries tucked between financial towers, while the iconic CCTV Headquarters provides a jaw-dropping architectural moment. Chaoyang Theater offers cultural performances for evening entertainment, and nearby Honglingjin Park provides a green escape from the urban energy. Upscale dining options span international cuisines to authentic Peking duck restaurants. Multiple subway lines connect through Hongmiao, Jintailu, and Dawanglu stations, making exploration beyond the district effortless. Luxury hotels dominate accommodations, perfect for travelers seeking modern comforts with a dash of Beijing sophistication.

Shishahai
Shishahai's ancient hutongs wind between traditional courtyard homes, while three connected lakes reflect willow trees and historic pagodas. Stone bridges arch over waterways where boats glide past lakeside teahouses. The Bell and Drum Towers rise majestically above narrow alleyways filled with red lanterns and carved wooden doorways. From traditional Peking duck restaurants to trendy lakeside bars, dining options abound in this historic Beijing district. Three subway stations and frequent bus routes make getting around easy, though walking these storied paths offers the most authentic experience. Accommodation ranges from boutique guesthouses in restored hutongs to upscale waterfront hotels.

Beyond the Forbidden City's vermilion walls lies a metropolis where ancient history collides with futuristic ambition. Lose yourself in the maze-like hutongs, where traditional siheyuan homes hide courtyard treasures. The Temple of Heaven's perfect acoustics demonstrate Ming Dynasty engineering that still impresses modern architects. Summer Palace gardens offer respite from urban intensity, with locals practicing tai chi alongside imperial pavilions. Climb the Great Wall at less-crowded Mutianyu section for stunning views. After dark, explore night markets where street food vendors serve scorpions on sticks with the casualness of hot dog sellers. Beijing opera performances feature costumes so elaborate they make Broadway productions look underdressed.

Prime Hotel Beijing Wangfujing
"This is a great hotel with a central location, just minutes away from all the major historical attractions in Beijing. It’s also very close to the Wangfujing shopping area. The facilities are very new, and Mr. Zhu (小朱先生) is very friendly and helpful. He helped me book high-speed train tickets and also kindly reminded me before my departure. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to explore Beijing."
Sunworld Dynasty Hotel Beijing Wangfujing
"Amazing hotel. We were upgraded to premiere suite with scenic view. Colourful breakfast, clean facilities. 100% recommended."
Peace Hotel Beijing
"We spent six days at the hotel in August and were very happy. The decor in the room was a bit outdated but absolutely fine and the AC worked well. The room was large and comfortable for two people, and the breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff were very friendly. Not everyone spoke that much English but there were enough who did so it was not a problem. The location was the main highlight for us, as the hotel is just by the main shopping street with multiple department stores, and also easily walkable to the Forbidden City. We would definitely stay there again."
East Sacred Hotel-near Beijing Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City,Wangfujing Street-Newly renovated hotel
"Good location, nice staff and excellent service. The breakfast buffet was a big plus to us. The only thing I was not impressed was the airport drop off service. The driver was not professional at all (plate number ending 35335). The car was 15 minutes later than our scheduled pickup time. The driver never got out of the car to help us with the luggage loading. The hotel staff was helping instead. The driver was eating tomato and cucumbers with one hand driving the entire ride. After we got to the airport, he continued eating and never communicated or got out of the car to help. I was very pleased with everything this hotel offered except the airport ride."
Grand Hyatt Beijing
"One of the safest hotel in Bejing. Stay with family or friend"
Four Seasons Hotel Beijing
"The hotel was clean , the gym was amazing , we had the buffet breakfast and it was delicious , staff were very friendly and helpful .. the pizza at the Italian restaurant was delicious , the staff during tea time very nice , my only suggestion is to offer laundry service at a reasonable price . We had to use an outside service that would pick up laundry and return it to our hotel at a very responsible price . Otherwise the staff , hotel and amenities I would definitely give it 5 stars .. would highly recommend staying here ."
Crowne Plaza Beijing Chaoyang U-Town by IHG
"The location of this hotel is fantastic, close to subway stations and many great and authentic restaurants. Room is spacious and comfortable. Staff did a really good job cleaning and maintaining the facilities. Highly recommended!"
The Peninsula Beijing
"We got a room upgrade upon check-in and that was the beginning of a perfect stay. Between the staff, the amenities, the food and the location, the Peninsula in Beijing was absolutely perfect."
The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing
"The hotel was pleasant and located in a very ideal location easily accessible from main central airport. Definitely recommend for business trips."
