We were only staying in Kitzbuhel for one night at the end of a ski trip, and most places in Kitzbuhel / Kirchberg either wanted a full 7-night stay or $600 for a single night, which seemed very steep. We checked in around 9pm & probably should have paid closer attention to the hotel amenities as we may have cut dinner short in Kitzbuhel to get the most use out of the amenities. This is an incredibly charming, elegant old world hotel. The setting is glorious, within walking distance to the town of Kitzbühel and close to many fantastic trails for all levels of hiking. The breakfast buffet was varied and bountiful and the meal we had at the restaurant was wonderful. Because we had paid significantly more per night ($100) than the price listed on Expedia 3 days prior we received a room upgrade which was a lovely compensation but the difficulty in getting truthful, accurate...

No kitchen in our room. Room was clean but we only had the cleaner come in twice in 6 nights. View was fabulous. Comfortable bed. Staff was super nice and helpful. My only complaint was that the Expedia site reported that this property has a hot tub but it does not. I am not sure whether the error is on the part of Expedia or the hotel, but I wanted to point that out.

This was a magical place to visit and stay. So much history, culture and ambience.

Staff was kind. The hotel exterior and interior are decorated so nicely. Cozy! Breakfast was good, love the use of real dishes, not disposable.

This place is phenomenal. Location is breathtaking with Mountain View’s. A short bus ride to a nearby city if you want to explore. The property has a heated indoor and outdoor pool saunas and steam rooms for relaxation. The staff helped us with everything we needed and the breakfast was outstanding. I already hope to return one day!

What a rare find! Hotel Erika is a hidden gem! Full of old world and traditional charms, but with all the modern comfort without the pretensions of big hotels. Love everything here. This feels like being at home, and everyone of the hotel staff treated us with the uttermost care and respect. We didn't want to leave. The Tiefenbrunner was a very pleasant surprise. Quite often when you are in Europe and don't book with one of the big chains, you can get very nice hotel. The room is tastefully decorated, there's lots of wardrobe space, view of the mountains from the balcony is great, and they have a fantastic restaurant. Service is impeccable and staff are very friendly. Bathroom needs a little work in the shower area. Overall great value for money and the hotel exceeded our expectations.
