Great one night stay at Novotel Paris Pont De Sevres. Receptionist was very kind, patient with our kids, gave us a late breakfast, got us checked in a few hours early, and even rescued my daughter's shawl when she left it there. Later we got good advice on leaving luggage at Gare du Nord while we went sight seeing the next day (didn't want to have to return). Got good advice on bus direct to Versailles. I traveled to Paris a lot, Maybe 3 to 4 times a year, and normally I try to stay at different hotels in different areas of Paris to really get a feel for the city, but I may have found my favorite hotel. Close to a lot shops, not too many tourists, walking distance to the Eiffel. Great staff! Especially, Mialy! Loved this hotel the staff was amazing from Anna, Alice , Louise they helped me everyday printed out maps gave me great suggestions for everything from Restaurants to wear to get the best fabric don't think I would stay anywhere else when I return to Paris . I stayed there for a week. The location is great. Short walking distance to arc de triomphe and champs elysee and metro station. All major attractions were less than 10 minutes away by metro. The staff are friendly. I checked in my room early in the morning. The room is decent size for 1 person. Only thing is the hotel entrance is in an alleyway so coming back at night one needs to be careful. However there were always people around so I wasn’t concerned.
