This is one of the most wonderful and comfortable places I have ever stayed. The property is beautiful, the rooms are very large (even by US standards), the breakfast was fantastic, but the people were beyond all expectations. Henri, Veldi, Dominique, and Norwin (the folks who manage and run the place) are the most wonderful, welcoming, friendly and kind people you will meet as a traveler. Truly an exceptional visit. There are no downsides. Just fantastic.
Patrick’s place was fantastic and made our stay in Avignon truly memorable. The apartment was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the air conditioning was a huge bonus—something that can be surprisingly hard to find in France, especially good in the during the warmer months.
The location could not have been better. Situated just steps from great restaurants, cafés, and shopping, it was easy to enjoy everything Avignon has to offer. The iconic Palais des Papes was only a...
The owners are darling. Everything was perfect. The apartments are spacious. The breakfast is delicious. The pool is a very special, relaxing space. We took a private day tour with Mathieu, which was perfectly tailored to a needs. Highly recommended.
The property is a VRBO Style not a hotel. We had problems finding the place initially and had to call Pauline who was very helpful and came out so our Uber driver could get us to the property. Very nice pool and jacuzzi. Our room had a beautiful jetted jacuzzi tub and fancy steam shower. Location is very well situated and about 8 minute walk to the pope Palace and adjacent restaurants.
The duplex was great for our family of four. We loved the kitchen and living room—they’re both very spacious and comfortable. The apartment is close enough to all the restaurants and touristy spots, yet it still feels like we’re living like locals in Avignon. The owner is also very responsive to recommendations and questions about the area.
Unique and charismatic property in a perfect location! We enjoyed the breakfasts, and the hosts had helpful recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Would definitely stay here again.
Right in the center of the action during the festival! We loved the location! Many amenities to enjoy- the breakfast was particularly convenient for early mornings.
This property is a little gem, located on a tiny street, and hidden behind an imposing secured door opening to a cobbled courtyard with gorgeous flowering trees. Originally a single family home, the unit is on the ground floor with two spacious rooms filled with interesting artwork and eclectic decor from owner’s far reaching travels. More Air BnB than hotel, a welcome change from hotels…more of an emersion into the lifestyle of a citizen of a unique and beautiful walled city! Michèle was...
A well-run small hotel located very near the Avignon historic landmarks. The operator is very dedicated to his business and provides bed and breakfast style personal attention and local advice. He is very English-speaker friendly.
Our apartment was spacious and clean. Wonderful, quiet location that is close to all that Avignon has to offer. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Highly recommend.
The hotel was very convenient for sightseeing. Located right on the main square of the old town. About 15 minutes walk to train station and bus going to TGV Avignon station. The room was good size and had nice bathroom. Room had coffee maker and refrigerator.
Overall, great place and very close to the downtown. The only problem was having to lower the bollard blocking the road in order to drive to the front of the hotel. And the parking garage was a bit of a walk, but free.
I highly recommend this hotel.
