"The staff were friendly and helpful, the room and whole building were clean and everything was in good working order. The television however was old and slow- difficult to really use because of this. Otherwise it was excellent!"
"Awesome location, great room, fabulous staff! Booked a tour of the castle through reception and the front staff were welcoming, friendly and very efficient. For my next trip to Edinburgh, I will stay here again!! "
"This hotel is located in the heart of Edinburgh, with a great view of the city. It's in walking distance of great shopping, pubs, and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is an extra fee and they have a very small lot. Breakfast is also an extra fee but was delicious with friendly service. I especially appreciate the chilled, filtered water they offer on each floor. We stayed in a "family room" that does not have air conditioning. But they had a fan available and it was quite comfortable. We were there at the end of July. "
