"This small very unique hotel was a very unexpected surprise … don’t know why I didn’t know it existed Owners very pleasant professional Still cannot believe / understand why they charge so little - should be a ‘minimum’ of £20 more Definitely recommend and visit if in the area or just visiting Edinburgh"

"What a beautiful place to stay, my Partner and I were visiting Edinburgh for the Military Tattoo and to take in some of the Fringe. Our room was beautiful and the staff very helpful. A little bit of paradise"

"We’ve stayed before and has always been good. Was, again, very clean and breakfast was good too. Bar closed early tho and no way of getting a lateish drink, till was blamed and fairly much brushed off by the bar staff spoiling an otherwise enjoyable stay."

"Room was good Sauna/gym was good Food was excellent Staff were great The corridors were a little tired looking but since I don’t need to sleep in the corridor what difference does it make."

"This hotel is in an amazing location and the views are stunning. The food, staff, grounds and pool etc were what definitely what makes this hotel a 4 star. The room however was rough round the edges with threadbare carpet, holes on the armchairs, bed base pretty rough and the TV unable to get basic channels. The bathroom was beautiful and the room was really clean. It just needs investment but it is huge! "
