This a great place to stay, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The roms are easy and conformable.

Perfect for early departures from FLR. Only thing....Airport shuttle ends at 8pm. Cabs are really a rip off for the short 1km drive to the hotel. Novotel: extend hours of operation. It's now 8 to 8. Make it 5 to 9.

Hotel staff was very accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the service was great. Very close the train station, about a 5 minute walk. Great local restaurants within walking distance. Also great location for visiting the historical sites.

The Ibis location near the airport in Florence was perfect for our morning flight. We've stayed at several Ibis hotels for that reason, both in Europe and Mexico. There's usually one near an airport and they are totally predictable---always have a very good bed and are very functional and super clean. Staff always efficient and helpful.

The hotel is well located but not in a trendy area. Our room was basic but very clean and the bed was comfy. Lots of steep stairs and too many floor level changes - like from bedroom to bathroom. The shower was very slippery so I wouldn’t get in it after being over served! Not ideal for seniors but we managed OK. The staff was lovely and helpful. If you want a good value, great AC and location give it a try.

Great location. River view. Would stay there anytime I'm in Florence

I am very busy and don't like to waste my time but I thought I had to compliment this hotel and the staff. My wife and I traveled with our daughter and we were expecting to be very tight in the room. We were given a very spacious suite with two bedrooms. The beds were great, the view was spectacular facing the cathedral. The breakfast menu was delicious. Staff was great. I will return

very nice hotel. helpful staff. room was small but clean and pretty. garden is very nice. I sat there one evening and had food and drinks. the hotel is far enough from the city center to be quiet but not too far - just a 10-to-15 minute walk

We have stayed at Silla prior to this visit and love the Hotel. The area is a perfect walk to the center of Florence but it is off the busy streets and very quiet. The staff is always very accommodating, willing to help in any way they can. They serve breakfast daily and it is a very nice way to start your busy day. My husband, 11 yr old son and I just returned from our first trip to Italy.We stayed at the San Gallo Palace in Florence 5 nights and loved it. From the moment our taxi dropped us off, the staff was friendly and helpful. One of the staff rushed outside to bring in our luggage as we were exiting the taxi. I wish I'd have gotten his name. Very nice hotel, less than 5 min walk from train station. Easy to find. Rooms are smaller, but nice. Robe and slippers a nice touch. Only negative, bed a little hard and pillows even harder. Good thing I was exhausted at days end and able to sleep despite them not being comfortable. Breakfast included and great! Eggs, bacon, meats, cheese, breads, juice, coffee. We cannot recommend this hotel enough. The price was so worth it. The resort has a delicious restaurant, comfortable and luxurious accommodations, a lovely bar, relaxing pool area, and the most amazing Tuscan hills view. We can attest that the romantic sunset they promote is spot on. There is a quaint downtown a 10 minutes walk away as well. It was conveniently located to Florence and many other Tuscan locations. It was amazing to get an authentic Tuscan experience.
