Hotel Bella Venezia
"We booked a last minute room here and enjoyed our stay. Air conditioning worked perfectly and the location is close to major sights. The staff were very pleasant and the manager was very helpful. She offered us another room and complimentary drinks. This was very appreciated. Only a few things good be improved, for instance our room needed a bit of general maintenance and things like marks on walls, dead spiders on ceiling and cobwebs were off-putting. It was also difficult to charge devices by the bed and have the bedside lamps on at the same time because the plug turns off the lamp! There is very little soundproofing with the room next door. There are some type of vents near the TV and on our last night a crying baby sounded as though it was in our room for a lot of the night. You could hear everything happening next door through the vents and vice versa I am assuming. Thankfully the family only checked in on our last night, and so it didn't ruin our stay. Beds are very firm and 'springs' were digging into our hips and ribs throughout the night. Lastly, breakfast was a bit disappointing. It is served until 10.30am and we walked in at 10am. When we asked about the bacon the waitress/worker said that the bacon was 'finished' and did not attempt to go and get anymore or apologise. At other hotels they are still topping things up until the last minute im case someone comes in. We did not have breakfast at the hotel again."
Hotel Guerrato
"Great stay. Amazing staff, friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was excellent (don’t miss it!). Room temp was very comfortable and cool AC, super-clean large bathroom with nice shower head. Beds were very comfortable. Excellent location, 2 mins walk to waterbus line 1. Although it’s centrally located, it was very quiet, we had good night sleep. Be prepared to go up and use the stairs with your luggage. Our room was on the 4th floor, no elevator. We did not have heavy luggages, so no issue for us. Overall, this is an excellent place."
Unahotels Ala Venezia - Adults Only
"The only reason for good rating as opposed to excellent is because the rooms in terms of the shower was very inconsistent. Our first room had a high soaker tub you needed to climb into. We switched room and the bathroom and shower were small like a cruise ship. Other friends who stayed with us had a normal bathroom with a regular size walk in shower. As an adults only hotel you would think the showers would accommodate. Other than that the hotel is beautiful, clean, confidently located to San Marcos square and friendly hotel staff. Just ask for a regular shower room. People that have stayed here before ask for American shower room lol. I would stay here again!!"
Carnival Palace Hotel
"The canal view from our window was so nice! The room was nice, clean and good AC. I’d say complete room amenities including weighing scale and slippers. The breakfast selection was great. The young bartender was very nice and the service was fast. The staffs were helpful and kind. The location was perfect for us. My lil kid liked it!"

"Fabulous one night stay in a peaceful side street off the grand canal close to station. Perfect location on our family Interrail trip. Huge triple room, with large family bathroom & a bath in double room. Excellent breakfast & we enjoyed the garden, lounge bar area. Totally recommend."
