We loved our stay at the beautiful Torre Sangiovanni B&B! Rosary is a lovely host (but don't be late) who serves a amazing breakfast that is both delicious and a work of art! The 1,000 year old castle, was recently very tastefully redone by Rosary. It is situated in Todi in the gorgeous Umbria region of Italy. We loved our short stay and plan to return.
From the staff at the front desk to the gorgeous, unforgettable view, this hotel is a hidden gem! When you come to Todi, you expect history and age, and the hotel gives you both of those things. We had a private balcony that was exquisite and staff went out of their way to cater to us. We would definitely stay again.
Excellent property. The resort is located on what appears to be a farm or in a farm area. We stayed for 4 nights and loved nearly everything. The room was excellent, only complaint was the bed/pillows were a bit hard for our tastes. If you like a firm mattress it will be good. We did not eat at the restaurant for lunch or dinner so we cannot comment on the quality of the food. Breakfast was typical and high quality. The spa was nice as well. We were delighted to stay at Hotel Podere Sette Piagge for our first night in Italy. It was a beautiful setting and our gracious hosts welcomed us and made us feel at home. Breakfast was outstanding as well.
Our experience at Michelangeli's B & B in Orvieto was exceptional! We stayed almost 2 weeks and never had a complaint. We found the room rate reasonable. Francesca, the owner, was kind and helpful but also gave us our privacy. Despite her broken English (and our broken Italian), we managed to communicate. It was a great stay and we loved the resident cat! The only problem we had was the inconsistency with WiFi. Anyone who needs total access at all times should not stay here. Otherwise I would have given a + rating.
Assisi was one of our favorite places to visit in Italy and we highly recommend for all to stay here. Note: town closes down by 8:30-9:00pm. Oh almost forgot they have parking and the bus stops are right close to hotel!
