"Palazzo Alexander is a wonderful small hotel. Beautifully decorated in an elegant, classic style. Our room had beautiful inlaid wood furniture. The bathroom was spacious with a very good shower. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and included made to order eggs with bacon. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located near key sights. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel."

"We are from Scotland and stayed here a week from 8th November. Excellent hotel. Lovely facilities and fantastic quality. Lovely room ( although we would have preferred to be in the main building than the tower), extremely comfortable bed and all facilities first class. "While I wouldn't wish my spare time in the room, it was clean and comfortable - I had trouble with controlling the lighting in the room - one switch turned everything off ( not unusual) but nothing would turn off the bathroom light which was a bit frustrating. And while I was happy to have an in-room safe - it was far too small - it couldn't even hold an iPad let alone a LapTop. However the staff were friendly and the breakfast delicious. I'd happily go back for another stay. "

The entire staff is welcoming, professional, and friendly!! The wine list is extensive, the food is as imaginative as it is delicious! Very convenient to Lucca and Pisa. Plenty of on-site parking. Too cool to enjoy the pool, but the setting was lovely."
