"I had a pleasant stay. The staff were exceptionally kind, and the driver was also very courteous. One of the highlights was the complimentary drinks available at most times, including alcoholic beverages. While the building and facilities felt a bit dated, the private baths attached to some rooms were absolutely fantastic. The hotel is surrounded by a spacious property, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that made for a relaxing experience.

"A great place to stay, I loved the TV room with full body massage chair (free) and the games including Go. The meals were delicious as were the local area Mikan oranges the proprietor put out for guests. I’m definitely returning to Hinodeya and highly recommend it."

"Pros: Amazing view, gorgeous balcony! huge room, sweet and helpful staff, beach isolated and pristine- 5 min walk away, sweet pool, hotel is probably one of the best of available options, price is right!
Cons: Usami is a small town, hotel is on a hilltop (hence the amazing view)
Often ended up eating konbini food because I didn't want to do the trek up the hotel, sweet front desk dude gave me a ride to the station - "

"Absolutely loved our stay at the Yokikan. Unlike other ryokans, the owner and the staff spoke great english. Immaculately clean, and customer service is out of this world. The natural onsen water is superb! And lastly, breakfast is truly to die for. I highly recommend this place to anyone!!!"
