We enjoyed our stay. We were in the stone house which was ok but did not have any outdoor space to chill in. Typically in our vacations we like to sit on a porch and do nothing. I noticed that there were several other options that might be perfect for this on the property so next time I might pick more carefully which room we are in. Had a great time. The staff at this hotel is really wonderful. It is a very pretty hotel set on a great beach. it is a quite town but close to lots of attractions. Water was great.

GREAT LOCATION. It’s perfectly in the middle of the hustle and bustle area of the island so it’s a short walk to all the popping areas. Lovely balcony view and lovely rooftop area. Incredible value for the price and will highly recommend. Bathrooms are clean, rooms are clean and the employees and service workers are EXTREMELY kind.

We had a great experience at Bocawina. The owners and staff were very personable, helpful, and friendly. The accommodations were very nice and clean. The food was excellent. There were so many things we would have liked to do had we stayed longer. We will definitely stay there again the next time we are in Belize!

We took a bus from Belize city to San Ignacio. It is 4 usd per person for the bus ride. It might have taken longer than using a shuttle service, which i believe was 95 usd, but well worth the savings. The bus is a standard school bus and was full but it was only the two of us traveling so it wasn't hard to find a seat together. Quiet place next to town. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Pool area is nice but drinks at pool bar are too expensive. Very cute cabana style accommodations.

We loved our stay here. It was a last minute find & wished we could have stayed a few more days longer. Great location near airport for immediate paradise upon arriving into Belize or last days of paradise. Fantastic rooms, quiet, clean & very relaxing, private feeling with beach views & nature away from hustle & bustle. The infinity pool was a bonus too. Budget hotel located in the heart of San Ignacio. You cant beat the location. Tour agencies, restaurants and bus stops are just outside the hotel. It's a bit far away form Placencia village, but hotel provides free shuttle. A bit of a pain to wait for the driver to bet back, as they are not always on time. Rooms are clean and restaurant is great. One issue - we couldn't use the pictured pier with a gazebo and bar much (if ever) because there was a convention there and they kept other tourists off that pier, while kids from convention occupied the pier of breakfast, lunch, dinner and all activities.
