Gearhart Golf Links
Learn more about Gearhart
Breathe in the salty Pacific air while wandering miles of uncrowded coastline where beachcombers discover sand dollars and driftwood treasures. Gearhart Golf Links, one of Oregon's oldest courses, welcomes golfers with windswept fairways and ocean views. Del Rey Beach State Recreation Site offers perfect spots for picnics or watching dramatic waves crash against the shoreline. The compact downtown charms with boutiques selling coastal crafts and homemade treats. Local restaurants serve fresh seafood caught just offshore. For more entertainment, nearby Seaside tempts with its historic Turnaround, family-friendly aquarium, and convention center. Bring binoculars – elk herds frequently appear on the beach at dawn and dusk, seemingly unbothered by their stunning surroundings.

Astoria Rivershore Motel
"Room was clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking and the reception was friendly."
Tolovana Inn
"A great location. A lot of people and a bit noisy. It was still worth staying there"
Coast River Inn by OYO Seaside
"The room was nice and clean, property maintained well although everything is a bit older. Lighting was dim. Staff didn’t seem very happy, they weren’t rude just in autopilot maybe. My biggest complaint is that we were not aware of the $35 a night pet fee per pet and nobody likes hidden fees!"
Cannon Beach Hotel Collection
"Very clean and well maintained property. Very charming features with older well maintained fixtures and features."
River Inn at Seaside
"This was our first time coming to Seaside and staying in this hotel. It was wonderful. Only wish we could stay longer. We will be back! The location: short walk to the beach, restaurants and grocery. The morning walk on the beach with our dog was way better than what I could have imagined. The rooms: We got a suite - a bedroom with a living/kitchen room. The kitchen is well stocked. We made dinners a few times, which makes the staying feel like a home. The balconies are great to get fresh airs and relax too. One thing I’d like to mention is that the couch is actually a futon, not a pull out sofa - a bit small for 2 adults but workable. The amenities: breakfast was great. There are hot and iced water 24/7, and cookies too! We didn’t use the pool and gym, but I did see families enjoying their time in the pool. Also the fire pits in the backyard are nice. Great view of the river. Overall, this is an awesome hotel for our 3 nights stay. Highly recommended!"
Inn at Cannon Beach
"Excellent for couples. No pool or other though"
Promenade Inn & Suites Oceanfront
"Property is dated but they are working on it. Main thing for us was work crews started at 7am. Very loud outside. There is a weird smell in the lobby and elevators. Room was ok, but bed was creaky. Although not the fault of the hotel. Seaside isn't what it used to be. Very dirty beach now."
Motel 6 Astoria, OR
"An ok place to stay for a single night. Was surprised I could book a room with demand for rooms very high during the busy Buoy 10 salmon fishing season. Staff members were friendly and helpful."
Best Western Plus Ocean View Resort
"Whole family had a great time."
