"I loved that the property did not have a smoke filled casino and was very peaceful in spite of being located right next to the signature RENO sign. I did NOT like that a festival kept us from the self-parking garage and we had to pay for valet. We loved that the restaurant opened at 6:30 for an early breakfast which was excellent. I was confused by the front desk people saying there was security along the riverwalk when instead there were homeless people abounding. Beautiful riverwalk but we wouldn't eat along there as it would have us walking along in the dark. Sleeping room on the 14th floor was away from all noise, wonderfully spacious, great view and cute wallpaper in the bathroom. I would recommend this highly."

"I have stayed at probably every hotel with a kitchen in the Reno/Carson City vicinity and will continue to book this Residence Inn. The amenities feel comfortable and the rooms feel more like home. I especially love that they actually provide the right amount of dishes and cookware that I rarely have to improvise. The gym is nice and clean, the pool area is relaxing and the outdoor common areas are so inviting. I made steak on the grill! You just ask for BBQ tools at the front desk. I was so impressed with the quality of work of the housekeeping staff. Rosalinda (Rosa) cleaned my room while I was at work and it was so nice to come "home" to a clean place - she took so much care when tidying up. It was also great that I could leave her a tip using the QR code ! I never have cash on me and I was happy I could thank her in that way. I have a lot of food allergies and sensitivities which is why I choose a residential type hotel, but the breakfast offered there is the best Ive seen and the seating is relaxing and comfortable with great options for a working breakfast in the lobby or outdoors. I do wish there was more parking. If you get there after 5 or 6 pm, youre parking in the back."
