Learn more about Tillamook
Watching master cheesemakers at work in the Tillamook Creamery feels like peeking behind a delicious curtain. Don't leave without sampling the ice cream – it's practically mandatory. Cape Meares Lighthouse offers dramatic Pacific views alongside the peculiar 'Octopus Tree,' a spruce with tentacle-like branches defying botanical logic. The Three Capes Scenic Area delivers postcard-worthy coastline at every turn. Oceanside Beach invites long walks while Tunnel Beach reveals hidden coves through a hand-carved passage in the headland. Wildlife spotters should head to Cape Lookout State Park where migrating whales often make appearances. The county fairgrounds host events that showcase the area's agricultural roots with a refreshing lack of pretension.

Ashley Inn of Tillamook
"Great location, very safe. Gym was down for repair and the pool has no hot tub. Fred Meyer right next door. Great for getting food. Room was very clean. A/C heater made noises when on. Very soft mattress. Would say here again great price for the stay and what it has to offer. The breakfast was perfect size."
Terimore Bayfront Inn
"The view of the ocean was amazing! Some of the normal amenities were not available, such as a telephone in the room, wash cloths, and only one Kleenex in the box. The given password in the laminated sheet in the room was incorrect, but the password that was given as an alternate on a post-it note finally worked after a number of tries and an hour or two. Otherwise, the stay of one night was pleasant."
Three Arch Inn
"The ocean view was the best part of this stay. The window is large enough to see the amazing view of the ocean, sunrise and sunset. The self serving check in and out was easy. The accessible lobby stocked with beach towels, board games and a washer/dryer for use. All the questions you may have during your stay is already listed on signs in the room so there’s no need to have to get a hold of staff. The location was a benefit as well. I feel we were central between pacific City and Rockaway Beach which were the two other places we wanted to explore on our coastal drive. We will definitely stay here again. The only disadvantage was that the tub has jets but they did not work."
Oceanside Ocean Front Cabins
"The view is worth it! The cabin was a little musty and damp smelling. The air circulation wasn't the best. We opened the window to let the ocean air in and plugged in the fan. The communication for check in was great. We did utilize the frig to put drinks in. The mini coffee pot was good. But, I would have preferred the complimentary coffee to be in a sealed packet rather than loose in a tupperware. The sleepy beachtown in itself with it's stunning views trumped those minor details. Worth it!"
