Stanford Court San Francisco
"Clean rooms, no room amenities except soap and shampoo/conditioner but they did bring me slippers when I asked. No room service but you can DoorDash food or grab something to go from the restaurant during certain hours - you do miss out on the room service experience though Complementary ( la colombe) coffee and tea in the AM was a nice touch. Employees super helpful and let me borrow their personal charging port overnight when I forgot mine (another employee insisted I buy one from the hotel). Location is good, worked well for me for a one night stay for work but wouldn’t want to spend the week there. I’d go back for a similar type stay."
Hotel Julian
"The property was clean and the room was nice. The parking was rather inconvenient because it was hard to find street parking, you had to pay, and you had to lug your luggage up a giant hill. The restaurant in the hotel is rather expensive and not the best meal I’ve eaten. There were a few restaurants in walking distance but not much else. Lots of hidden fees to look out for though! The total as you are reserving is NOT the real total. There are “amenity fees” despite no amenities really (ie. No pool, sauna, complementary breakfast, etc.)."

Marriott Vacation Club®, San Francisco
"I thought the staff was very nice and the room had comfortable beds and I liked the valet parking and the location was accessible to everything."
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berkeley Marina
"I had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree Berkeley, and what made it especially meaningful was how kind and supportive the staff were during a very emotional time for me. I was in Berkeley to leave my daughter at college, and understandably, I was having a lot of emotions. The staff were incredibly nice and genuinely supportive, which meant more to me than they probably realized. I also really enjoyed breakfast at the Boathouse restaurant. The outdoor area by the marina was one of my favorite parts of the hotel. Sitting outside in the comfortable chairs around the fire pit, enjoying the view and taking in the peaceful atmosphere, was the perfect way to relax. The pool and hot tub were also great and gave me another opportunity to unwind after a busy and emotional few days. Overall, this hotel felt welcoming, comfortable, and relaxing. The beautiful marina setting, great amenities, delicious breakfast, and especially the caring staff made my stay a memorable one. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Berkeley."

"We’ve been coming here since our honeymoon 52 years ago. We love the location, the staff, cookies, popcorn, coffee machines in the lobby. Only negative…no air conditioning."
