Learn more about Rockland
A mile-long granite walkway leads to Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse, where waves crash dramatically against massive stone blocks. The Farnsworth Art Museum houses an impressive collection of Wyeth family works that capture Maine's rugged soul. During the Maine Lobster Festival, the harbor fills with boats while locals debate which waterfront shack serves the freshest catch. The once-shuttered Main Street now buzzes with galleries and boutiques housed in colorfully restored buildings. Catch a film at the historic Strand Theater before boarding a Maine State Ferry to explore the islands of Penobscot Bay. The Maine Lighthouse Museum offers fascinating maritime history, while summer brings the North Atlantic Blues Festival's soulful sounds echoing across the harbor.

Whitehall
"Lovely place only a half mile sidewalk stroll to downtown. The room was clean and nice. The bed was lumpy and soft. There is a nice bar area and the breakfast was great with many options. The home is old so the floors are unlevel. Not a problem for us but could be for older guests. Easy parking."
250 Main Hotel
"Great location, beautiful art, nice common area, pet friendly!*;"
Strawberry Hill Seaside Inn
"Gorgeous property, stunning views, beautiful room, super comfy, great coffee, no breakfast offered."
Trade Winds on the Bay
"The room was clean, parking was easy with the parking pass, and the hospitality was amazing. The other thing I would change about my stay would be staying longer."
High Tide Inn
"Classic Maine coastal property. Main Inn and cabins and motel rooms on a great spot right on the water. Cabin was clean and large with bathroom and kitchenette. Views of the the water from our windows. Gas fire pit was nice. Mike the owner was very helpful and made popovers and muffins in the morning. Overall, a great place for the cost. We would stay again."
The Country Inn at Camden Rockport
"Very clean. They came and cleaned the room without being asked Service staff in the dining area made sure food was turned over, hot and ready"
Island View Inn
"Sceneries ama ing, Cindy@ front desk gave great suggestions for restaurants and places to see.."
The Inn at Ocean's Edge
"Very clean and cozy love the additional touch of appletv in the rooms so you can stream your own content. Pool and hot tub were nice but rarely used them since we were busy with day excursions. Daily breakfast was great but better to get there earlier since they tend to run out of things."
Glen Cove Inn & Suites
"Great place to stay. Loved the pool"
