Ali and his brother are amazing. They take care of you every single moment. Transportation to Thoddoo was a little intense for the waves but since you arrive to the pier they are there waiting for you. You get a coconut once you are at the hotel since there everything is marvelous. If you really want to live the local experience of Maldives you definitely need to visit this island. Dont forget to try the papaya and mango juice.I love the papaya.

We had a short but excellent stay at Westsands. The staff were friendly and always accommodating not only with us but other guests. Musab, the hotel manager was in contact with us before out trip and answered all my questions about activities, currency, etc. The room was cleaned twice a day and had all the typical conveniences. What an amazing property - the rooms were amazing the breakfasts delicious the beach superb and the service - impeccable. This is such a better option than going for the resorts it’s wonderful staying on a local island - this is my 5th trip to Maldives and I’ll only do local islands and this is definitely one of the top properties on a local island. The jet boat transfer was affordable and timed well.
